One game that has been garnering some attention recently is still in development and is not yet playable, but the premise of Cube World is making quite a few people drool.
Cube World has been in development for just 6-7 months but what is being flaunted is definitely impressive. Terraria-heads, Minecraft fans, this is certainly one for you! Making their own voxel editor and building the game completely by themself, Wollay, is making a Zelda-like RPG with quests, hopefully crafting, player customisation and it will all be available as single and multiplayer.
The developer releases new videos and progress updates quite frequently so it’s worth checking out their blog if you want to keep informed of Cube World. The latest update introduces basic quests and being able to block with shields and parry while in combat. There is still a lot to add to the game yet though, namely – player customization: I’m planning to add player customization, NPCs, villages, dungeons, more enemies and bosses, items, leveling, an experience and skill system and the interface.
See the video below to see what we are talking about.
You can find out a lot more information about Cube World on the developer’s blog.
