AAIMIE is a game being developed by James Sablatura, and is an acronym for “Autonomous Artificially Intelligent Mechanized Industrial Engineer.” The game’s point-of-view is set in the first-person perspective, much like Legend of Grimrock. In the game, you play as AAIMIE, who is a repair robot in a facility on a far away planet. In the facility AAIMIE was in, there was a short power outage and as a result, her memory was overloaded with knowledge of the facility, including all of the secrets that lie hidden within it. Not only that, but AAIMIE also now has a crazy urge to destroy the entire power facility that she has just spent her life repairing.
AAIMIE is currently in it’s very early development stages, but James Sablatura says that the game will be focusing on exploration, story-telling, various scripted events, and story-driven gameplay. The game will be released on four different platforms: PC, Mac, iOS and Android. An official release date has not been announced just yet.
