Night Of The Fred

StickyDPad have announced that their upcoming action-RPG, Night Of The Fred, will be coming to Xbox Live in October this year with a touching teaser trailer.

Wandering the streets in a post-apocalyptic world, Fred (the guy with the forehead) is in search of his parents. The trailer paints the game as some emotional heartfelt story, even managing to capture scenes that remind me of To The Moon. In fact, it’s so soppy and sad that when the zombies do eventually turn up, I half expected one of them to pull out a hanky, blow its nose and then shuffle over to Fred to give him a hug.

That didn’t happen though. But neither does much else – the developers spoke to VVGTV and said that they’re still putting things together, hinting that the typical zombie skull crushing would come at a later date. For now you will have to make do with blowing on your zombie snot rags with this sombre piano-led teaser.

More information on Night Of The Fred can be found over on the official website.
