Basically you play as a bear who must eat and get fat as fast as he can before winter starts. Strangely you are not roaming the wild and rivers looking for food, you drive a car. Eccentric as it seems, it’s the truth.

You; the player have 5 minutes to get fat before going into hibernation. You are to eat berries and fish. Nice idea for a low budget game, but sadly this game is pretty much all but nice.

Controls: Sloppy controls; you are to control everything with your mouse. You have to steer with the mouse (Or touch pad in a laptop), grab fish, change from reverse to drive, and throw garbage out of your car. This makes it hard to control the vehicle.

Music: All I can say is ahhhh, annoying.

Graphics: Graphics are bad. Yes, I know this is low budget but can do better.

Game play: Game play has it’s ups and downs. Eating fish and berries can be quiet entertaining, but other than that the game play is quiet awful.

I rate this 3 out of 10.

    I don’t think you really get Enviro-Bear 2000.

This was shown at GDC this year amongst a whole bunch of really interesting, experimental games. It had the entire room roaring in laughter.

I don’t think Enviro-Bear is trying to win any awards for quality. Maybe you just need to lighten up.

Actually, you control everything with your PAW, not mouse!

Some people just don’t get art.

This just makes me lol. I love it. Look at the bear’s face; it’s like that kid who used to scribble beside you in class and then asked your opinion and you would just change the subject. Indie games that actually can make you laugh (and meant to) are win.

You’re complaining about visuals in an *indie* title? The point of indie games is to get away from the cavalcade of beautifully rendered mediocrity.
