Frozen Hearth

We’ve mentioned Frozen Hearth a few times in the past and deservedly so but now there’s an even bigger reason to tell you all about it.

Publisher Immanitas Entertainment has revealed a release date of November 29th for the upcoming real time strategy game from Aussie studio Epiphany Games. There’s also a few neat incentives on the way to get your strategy finger twitching in anticipation.

Frozen Hearth is set on the planet Amorra and tells the story of the Danaan’s fight for survival against the extremely dangerous race known as the Shangur. The game is split into three acts of 18 missions in total that can be played alone or with a friend in co-op, which is always more fun. There’s also plenty of multiplayer options included with both local network and online modes.

Now here’s the good stuff. For a limited time only you can pre-order the Frozen Hearth from Gamers Gate which will nab you an exclusive downloadable soundtrack and digital art book all wrapped up in a 10% discount.

There’s also a traditional retail boxed copy in the works though so far there’s no word on whether the pre-order bonus items will make the trip to your local retailer. As soon as we know more on that, we’ll be sure to get the message to you all.

Frozen Hearth is also awaiting your vote on Steam Greenlight if you’re so inclined, with the hope of having it on the highly touted service around the same time if the votes are high enough to catch Valve’s attention.

You can expect to pay $24.99US for Frozen Hearth upon its release date for Windows PC, but hey, 10% off is a good deal right? If you want to know more visit the official website and Facebook page to get the lowdown as the release date looms large.
