This week has in my mind seen a few games that have really stood out for me. From the zany take on psychotherapy to the fantastically in-depth story driven action adventure game Cave Story there has been no shortage of quality titles.
So pull up a chair and engross yourself in this plethora of great games, which are all indeed free! As always click the title for the original article or the image for a link to the game and enjoy.
A whole other take on the puzzle genre. Set in the mind of a troubled child you have to use the strange powers gifted to you to escape from your own mind. Full of mind bending puzzles and lateral logic puzzles you can really get taken away with this great little game.
Originally a jam game now available to all Bloody Zombies will have you chasing down all the undead with your trusty lawnmower. This quirky and very bloody puzzle platformer is a great deal of fun and who would have known zombies could produce so much blood.
A Beautifully crafted game made to raise awareness of neuronal degeneration and overall neuronal growth for the Wellcome Trust. Axon is a great arcade styled game that relies on your lighting quick reflexes to connect the largest amount of axons together. Very fun and very challenging if you enjoy arcade games defiantly worth a shot.
I do love when developers move to create games under water. The sea really has some truly amazing scenes and because of this you get some of the most vivid and beautiful visuals in gaming. Unlimited Attraction also delivers this vibrant underworld that really is very nice to look at and with its arcade style is a great deal of fun.
Truly a stand out game that has been a global phenomena, it’s a surprise I have not mentioned it sooner. Much longer than the usual titles I look for but due to the rich gameplay I felt it needed to be brought up. If you are a fan of the RPG genre and loved games like Castlevania than Cave Story truly is a must play.
So ends yet another week and as we start to draw ever closer to Christmas expect to see maybe the odd Christmas themed game appearing. Although that may still be a week or two away really. Be sure to come back to the same place tomorrow at the usual time for a brand new game. Enjoy your Sunday and the rest of the weekend
