Having sold over 44,000 bundles, the Indie Gala’s first pay-what-you-want indie game bundle has gone pretty well already, but now they are upping the stakes! As a treat for the New Year, six indie music albums have been added as well as a whole new bonus DRM-free game, Different Pixel‘s Vizati.
Indie Gala came out of the blue when it launched but it did brag a great line up of games: Zombie Shooter 2, inMomentum, Saira, Hacker Evolution: Duality and Your Doodles Are Bugged! At the time of its launch there were a couple of bonuses available to those who paid over the average price. These were Zombie Shooter 1 and Hacker Evoloution: Untold, a theme for Zombie Shooter and five more doodles.
Now, there has been a blowout of extra bonuses added to the bundle, only available if you pay the extra and go over the average. If you have already purchased the bundle and received the prior bonuses then these additions will be available to you at no extra price.
Following in the steps made by the Indie Music Bundle, the Indie Gala now comes with six bonus music albums. The organizer of the bundle Riccardo of IndieGala Srl, said “Adding this amazing indie music to our IndieGala bundle felt very natural. With IndieGala, we are aiming to include all kinds of indie artists, and what could be better than listening to awesome indie music while playing awesome indie games?”
The bonus music albums are:
- Doodads, by Robot Science.
- Good Luck, by Robot Science.
- Terra Firma, by The Flashbulb.
- Love As A Dark Hallway, by The Flashbulb.
- Reptilians by Starfucker.
- inMomentum Original Soundtrack, composed by Gareth Coker.
You can listen to small previews of each of the albums on the Indie Gala page, they all sound pretty sweet.
The other bonus being added to celebrate the New Year is a whole game, Different Pixel’s Vizati to be precise. Description below from the developer’s site:
“Vizati is a puzzle game in which you need to connect the little vizati stones by color. There’s 2 different modes of playing it. One of them is story mode where the stone Vizati is discovered by Julie and Ben and they try to find out what it is and uncover it’s secrets. The other one, Arcade mode is a more traditional way to play it.”
The Indie Gala Bundle will be available until January 6th 2012. All of the games are redeemable via a Steam code except Vizati which is DRM free and can be downloaded for Windows or Mac. Upon deciding how much you want to pay for the bundle, you can split the price between the developers, the Gala organisers and charities Save The Children and Child’s Play. The Indie Gala is also gift-able so you can send it to your friends if you like them that much.
More information on the Indie Gala and all of it contents is available at the official page.
