Indie dev Alex Vostrov from Rocket Bear Games is offering his new upcoming game Infested Planet for preorder/beta. When players preorder Infested Planet, they get early access to the beta build of the game. I think I’m going to start calling this type of release the MineCraft model…

Infested Planet is a real-time strategy for PC or Mac. Players take command of five soldiers, and a collection of weapons and technology, and are asked to defeat 100,000 aliens. Could be a challenging unit-building and tech planning game, because who doesn’t want to fight masses of angry aliens?
