The very recently formed Kytarro Games have announced their two major projects that they have and will continue to be working on while I work on trying to pronounce just one of the teams members’ names – Andreas Farmakis, Fivos Vilanakis and Konstantinos Dimopoulos. Not gonna happen for a while yet.
Avast! It is the day of the big announcements from Kytarro Games so let’s delve into their wares and see what they have for us. First up, their game project, Artfully Framed, which they have been working on since March 2010, is revealed as a “rather impressive, innovative, fun and beautiful twitch-arcade offering for the iPhone”. Yeah that’s it for details I am afraid. Kytarro do tease some other interesting nitbits too though; first that they hope to bring it to Android and PC and second that a professional painter is guiding the aesthetic of the game. Kytarro also reckon that it will be like nothing else out there in the market – we’re doubtful and optimistic at the same time…an odd queasy feeling emerges too.
The other announcement involves the ‘B’ word in a box, apparently. They’re really sealing the lid on this one after having announced it but Kytarro do say this on the official page:
“It’s the only truly thematic gaming bundle using the pay-what-you-want model (with a twist) and, more importantly, the only bundle that tries having some of the best game designers and developers create exclusive games for it.”
That’s about it for this one as well at the moment but we are being told to look our for upcoming information regarding both of the announcements on the blog, Twitter account and Kytarro’s Facebook account too.
