Earlier this week, you might have read an article I published about The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, an upcoming action RPG from Neocore Games. Today, Neocore Games admitted that their previously chosen Van Helsing was just too young, and are reaching out to the community to ask for their opinion on who they would like to see cast as the next Van Helsing.
“…as soon as we saw our young Van Helsing in action, he still struck us as a bit too young and inexperienced for the grand adventure we had in mind,” said Neocore Games in their press release. “So we have begun our search for the real Van Helsing, this time with the help of our fans. We want to include our friends in the decision-making process, so each member of the community will be able to pick his or her favorite character concept by vote.”
Neocore Games released an entertaining interview video with the three possible candidates that voters can select from. There is The Chevalier, The Veteran, and The Mysterious Stranger.
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is a top-down, action RPG, where players control the legendary monster hunter, Van Helsing. The game takes place in a fictitious 19th Century Eastern European countryside, during a time of magic and strange technology.
The game will support up to four-players online, tasking them to take down a mad scientist and his monstrous creations that have gotten loose.
Visit the official The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing website, and then vote on your favorite character concept on Neocore Games’ developer blog.
