Greenlight Bundle

A new Greenlight Bundle has launched, courtesy of Stolen Couch Games. The purpose of the Greenlight Bundles is to let players get their hands on indie titles that are struggling to be approved through Steam’s Greenlight program. The developers whose games are featured in the Greenlight Bundle hope that buyers will enjoy their game enough to vote for it within Steam Greenlight, and have their game eventually approved for Steam.

The Greenlight Bundle is pay-what-you-want, but paying $5 or more will get you an additional four games and two extra bonuses.

For paying more than $1, buyers will get Pixel Blocked!, Omegalodon, and Starlaxis – Light Hunter.
Paying more than $5 will get buyers Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land, Perpetuum, Dawn of Fantasy, and Oniken. The bonuses come in the form of a multiplayer party game called General Conflict, and the “Mean and Green” Awesomenauts DLC bundle.

Again, all of the games within the bundle are available for voting in Steam Greenlight, and if a game included within the bundle is eventually approved for distribution on Steam, a complimentary Steam key will be given to bundle buyers. Of course, DRM-free copies of the games are always available from the Greenlight Bundle website, in the meantime.

All of the games and bonuses are available for use on PCs, but Omegalodon is the only game that is also playable on Macs.

As of this writing over 1300 bundles have been sold, and there are still six days left to purchase the bundle from the Greenlight Bundle website.
