Today, Team17 announced the Worms Revolution Funfair Pack. This is the first official batch of downloadable content for Worms Revolution.
The Worms Revolution Funfair Pack includes five new puzzle missions, a new “Funfair” theme that can be used both offline and online, and four new weapons: Armageddon, Skunk, Napalm Strike, and the Knock-Out.
The content pack also includes two new trinkets: Burger and Ice Cream; two new accessories: Red Nose and a Masquerade Mask; a new gravestone: a Rollercoaster track; and a new sound-bank of exclusive Funfair sounds.
English comedian, Matt Berry (The IT Crowd), reprises his role as Don Keystone, the unseen narrator who guides players through the five new puzzle levels.
Worms Revolution is a strategy game developed by Team17. The game has players playing as teams of worms, attempting to eliminate the opposing worm teams. Team17 made Worms Revolution in 2.5D, which is traditional 2D platforming, enhanced with 3D visuals.
In Worms Revolution players control a team of worms attempting to eliminate the other worm teams on the battlefield. The game is turn-based, offering a limited amount of time to maneuver and only one chance to attack, per turn. Worms Revolution launched October 10th, 2012.
Worms Revolution Funfair Pack is set to be released on Wednesday, October 24th for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The Funfair Pack required Worms Revolution to play.
