Exit Strategy Entertainment have released their Pirates of the New Horizon spin-off game, Planet Buster, for PC and Mac. The game is a match-3 puzzle game but has a few unique twists that arguably make the game a little more interesting and certainly more fun than some similar titles. For instance, you can swap ANY tiles at any time. Now, you may think that this would break the rules of these games, well, you are gonna have to play it to find out how it doesn’t. You can pay what you want for the game and there is even a demo to try out if you still remain sceptical.
Planet Buster is based in the fictional world created by the developers for their more ambitious title Pirates of the New Horizon. POTN is a third person action adventure game that takes place in a pirate setting; if you didn’t know it looks pretty fantastic. A prototype of the game was released just over a year ago and got a lot of people excited. That prototype is still available to download for free over on this page. All the money made from Planet Buster will go towards the development of its bigger brother, so there is plenty of reason to be generous. Don’t believe us? Check out the trailer for Pirates of the New Horizon below!
