Qasir Al-Wasat

Living up to the nature of its gameplay, Qasir Al-Wasat has literally sneaked on to Desura and we missed it – no use living in the past though, this game is worth checking out.

Aduge Studio are part of the upcoming Brazilian indie game scene, which is one that brings a range of unique perspectives and styles to gaming that weren’t really existent before. Whether that can be said of Qasir Al-Wasat or not is to be decided, but it certainly presents a different flavor to dip your tongue in and get a taste.

So the premise of the game is this: you play a frail yet invisible creature which is summoned for a mission of infiltration and assassination, but finds itself discovering the wonders of a 12th century Syrian palace and a more sinister plot. Qasir Al-Wasat is best understood as a top-down stealth game in which you must sneak past guards and use surprise to take them out. While these simple mechanics seem promising, it is the game’s style that really catches our eye, plus the game’s trailer is definitely something you cannot ignore.

Purchases of Qasir Al-Wasat can be made over on Desura, unfortunately there is no demo to try if you’re wary. You can find more information on Qasir Al-Wasat on the official website.
