Gunpoint

Regardless of whether you know what Gunpoint is or not, it is time to get excited. Presented to you from one of the nicest developers (and journalists) out there by the name of Tom Francis, Gunpoint has a new gameplay video that attempts to explain the cross-link gadget to you, which is one of the main features in the game. It’s confusing but utterly genius and, well, you just have to watch it!

If it wasn’t obvious from watching the video (and if you didn’t, do so now!), Gunpoint is a puzzle game in which you play as a spy who has to infiltrate buildings and work through the security systems. The updated video confirms that the game will have threads of a story, be 20 levels long and will have many gadgets to acquire and upgrade.

The developer originally wanted to release Gunpoint for free but is now pondering whether to charge, what with all the effort now emptied into it from artists and himself. He also wants a Linux version to be realised some time in the future. Gunpoint is due out around Christmas time, but this may or may not be definite.
