Coming from the same mother as Minecraft, King Arthur’s Gold and Ace Of Spades, Brick-Force is a Korean take on the rising ‘sandbox-shooter’ genre that is getting very popular at the moment.
Prepare for a journey around the globe right about now! First stop – Korea. Brick-Force originates from EXEgames who have designed the game as a simple free-to-play sandbox-shooter that plays in your browser. Players can build their own maps in their own time, share them with friends and then, when the time comes, charge at each other (or rather take cover) in pure FPS combat. So it’s basically Ace Of Spades with a cleaner, comic-style look with a few other subtle differences.
Next stop – Germany! Brick-Force is being handled in Europe and North America by Infernum; their job is to promote and host the game, also to fetch us the tea when we demand it. They’re also the ones who informed us of the game’s existence, so they’re not doing a bad job…although I did ask for only one sugar.
For our final stop, we return you back home and order you to sign up for the Brick-Force beta, which you can do so right here. This closed beta will open up to those who register on February 28th, apparently there are some in-game perks for those who join the community so early on. We’re told it’s something to do with the character customisation options. Another game with an obsession with helmets, so it seems!
More information on Brick-Force is best found on Infernum’s site, but you should make sure to go to the official site as well, silly.
