SteroidS

The Domaginarium released their game SteroidS just the other day on Indievania, but they have announced that they are going to pump the game full of…well, steroids to make it even better!

SteroidS is a top-down shooter which arms you, a measly scientist, with a steroids gun to fight back the hordes of crazed foes running their way towards you. The catch is, you are using a steroids gun – every shot injects the enemies with a means to be faster and stronger so it’s a risky defence. The idea is to pump them up so much that they basically blow up from it. With six different game modes, six different stages and some neat environmental traps to play with, SteroidS is a fun twist on an old genre.

The three man development team are still working heavily on the game and continually taking feedback from the community to make adjustments to the game. This has resulted in a 2.0 version being developed, which will also have Mac compatibility. This version also has some tweaks in the difficulty to make the game harder and enemies faster.

A demo for the current version of SteroidS can be downloaded from here.
The full game be purchased from Indievania, and more information can be found on the developer’s website.
