Team Up In ‘Legend Of Dungeon’ And Beat The Living Pixels Out Of The Enemy

The Rogue-like revival seems to continue with the latest mix of dungeon crawler and rogue-like action in the upcoming title Legend Of Dungeon.

Legend Of Dungeon comes straight from the great guys over at Robot Loves Kitty. Who have been developing games for a good few years now, with their previous title being nominate for Technical Excellence at the Indie Game Festival in 2011 and their expertise have only improved. Check out the latest trailer below:

Since this prestigious recognition the guys have refined their style even more and developed greatly as a studio. Really bringing a great deal of past knowledge and experience to this latest endeavour.

Legend Of Dungeon is going to be a rogue-like – but you already know this – in the setting and the procedural generation, but veers away from it in the combat. The combat is going to be more of a beat ‘em up style, so expect some fast paced action events.

Alongside this there is going to be the option for four players to play co-op. This is great and should add a nice dynamic to the proceedings, as we all know adventuring is always more fun with friends. However we all know how it will end, playing the blame game. But this is always part of the fun.

Created in a fantastic retro pixel art style with dynamic lighting and real time shadows expect ever pixel in Legend Of Dungeon to look a retro treat on your eyes.

Although no release date has been announced Robot Loves Kitty are going to be bringing Legend Of Dungeon to Windows based PCs, Macs and Linux based computers. Follow all the latest from the studio here.
