Tested On Humans: ‘POP: Methodology Experiment 1′ Now Available To Buy

Rob Lach’s first foray into what will become a mini-series of experimental games, POP: Methodology Experiment 1 (POP), has been released as a pay-what-you-want title for PC and Mac.

Stretched across seven vignettes or minigames that are were shaped initially by music, with the game design being melded around that, POP is without a doubt an interesting experience. It may not be the most friendly game out there, but what experiment is intended to be such? Not many. POP‘s minigames are erratic at best and linked together with bizarre videos to further disjoint the ride.

POP is on sale now at a recommended price of $4.99/ €4.99/ £3.99 but you can pay whatever you want for the game, with the minimum being $1 which will also bag you the game’s soundtrack. The more you pay the more goodies you get including a t-shirt, stickers and if you pay $250 and up and you’ll receive all of Rob’s games from now and forever. Head over to the game’s website and navigate the very interesting layout to find the store.

More information on POP: Methodology Experiment 1 can be found on the game’s official website.
