Mother of mercy. Super Mario Galaxy meets Minecraft? Yes please.

MaK, currently under development by Verge Game Studios, is a game that is solely about building. There are tons of building games out there, but what makes MaK different? MaK is very science-based, and incorporates physics into the mix. Using blocks and manipulating-blocks to build things, you will notice similarities to Minecraft, but when it comes to the graphical style, you will notice a lot of similarities to Super Mario Galaxy. It is truly the best of two worlds, how could it get any better?

Of course, this game also has the potential to be insanely complex, which from the trailer, looks like it is headed that way.

You can find MaK on the Steam Greenlight page with lots of cool features like gravity and tethering. A lot of the features that are currently implemented are a part of a bigger picture, as the developers eventually plan to put enemies into the game. Let’s say you tether a bunch of blocks together to make a sort of air-balloon contraption, you can get on that and if some sort of gun is added to the game, you could potentially snipe enemies from above ground. Since the game is only a prototype build at this moment, there are bound to be a ton more features and mechanics added.

Developer Verge Game Studio often keeps their blog updated with more information as well. A release date has not been announced just yet.
