Bear Simulator Has Been Kickstarted

It’s happening, people! Bear Simulator has been funded on Kickstarter!

Farjay Studio’s honey-lovin’, trout-eatin’, simulation game has well-exceeded its goal of $29,500 with over 20 days of funding left.

Bear Simulator will join the mammal simulation ranks in such company as Goat Simulator, Coffee Stain Studio’s game that puts you in the shoes – err, hoofs – of the beloved capra hircus.

“It’s like a mini Skyrim but you’re a bear,” reads the Bear Simulator Kickstarter page.

Bear Simulator gives you a first-person view of what it’s like to be a bear. Early gameplay footage shows the player hunting trout, attempting to steal precious honey, traversing dangerous cliff sides, and tracking… Bigfoot?

“Sure it may seem like a ‘dumb idea’ or a ‘really dumb idea’ but you can’t honestly tell me you’ve never secretly wanted to be a bear wandering around the forest,” reads the Kickstarter page.

Bear Simulator looks incredibly silly and entertaining, and I can’t wait to get my hands – err, claws – on it.

Farjay Studio’s is considering adding Oculus Rift support, and multiplayer. The estimated release window for Bear Simulator for PC is November of this year.
