Elegant New Artwork And OST Released For ‘A Walk In The Dark’

Flying Turtle Software have released some gorgeous new artwork for their upcoming platformer A Walk In The Dark and the OST is also now availble for your listening.

You may remember that I got just a little bit excited about A Walk In The Dark when the announcement trailer was released a couple of months ago. Since then we have been left to stew in our own juices but today Flying Turtle got in contact to tell us about some new materials for the game. Finally!

I felt quite the connoisseur earlier as I flicked through the masterful artworks for the game with the marvellous piano soundtrack providing an accentuated atmosphere in the background. All I needed was a glass of wine and a spoon up my arse and I could have passed as an uptight, upper class wa-….well you get the idea. No doubt there are going to be those who compare the visuals in A Walk In The Dark to Limbo, and quite rightly so but they seem less ghastly and adhere to the idea of natural (if silhouetted) beauty a little more than Playdead’s platformer.

Oh and I have already listened to the soundtrack twice through, it’s really motivating music and lovely to listen to while you pass the day away. You can go to Bandcamp or iTunes to give it a listen, purchase it, whatever takes your fancy.

More information on A Walk In The Dark can be found on the game’s official website.
