Take Up The Epic Battle In ‘Frozen Hearth’ To Save A Struggling Civilization From Ruin

I always love to see new and interesting RTS games coming up and Frozen Hearth really does look like it will satisfy my RTS craving. Immanitas Entertainment aim to combine RTS and RPG into one great new title and really start to bring the player into the game.

The game follows the Danaan’s fight to survive from the evil bloodthirsty ice demons. These creatures seem to contain some form of supernatural ability as they consist of only snow and ice. Yet they are slowly transforming the world into a barren arctic tundra suffocating all life.

Immanitas Entertainment aim to add plenty of exciting role playing mechanics into Frozen Hearth to help enhance the experience much more and allow the players to really define the way they take this struggling civilization.

To enhance the RPG element you are able to choose heroic characters which contain skill-based character progression, all manner of awesome spells and even specific items.

Frozen Hearth is going to put an emphasis on the ability to complete the campaign as a join venture with a friend. This will include over 20 maps, providing hours of Co-Operative fun. Or torture if your friends are not as skilled players as yourself.

However if your friend ends up bring you down, not able to keep up with your awesome macro and godlike RTS strategy. You can always go it alone as the single player still offers a highly engaging and rewarding experience.

Like any good RTS Frozen Hearth will also include multiplayer skirmishes that will allow you to escalate your Co-Operative squabbling into all out warfare in a matter of minutes. Though you can also play with strangers and crush their hopes as well, just it comes down to personal preference really.

Frozen Hearth really does sound like it will be an RTS with something a bit different about it, bring back some of the Warcraft 3 days. I am sure it will fulfill all of the promises made and even supase many of my expectaions. . Immanitas Entertainment aim to release Frozen Hearth this year, but you can follow all the latest developments on the newly launched site here.
