‘Humble Bundle Mojam’ Hits This Weekend: Vote On Mojang’s New Game

Well here’s a little indie treat for you! The woolly mammoths of our little community, Humble Bundle and Mojang, have come together during this fine mating season to create something they call Mojam.

Mojam is to take place this weekend, so that’s starting from February 17th at 10 CET, and will involve Mojang creating a brand new game over the course of 60 hours. The Humble Bundle guys are helping out as well by selling the game on their site and collecting the money, of which 100% will be going to charity- we’re told by Jeff Rosen that those charities will be “all the usual” charities they donate to.

It’s set up to be streamed live the entire time on the Humble Bundle website and won’t just feature Mojang sat there developing, but will include them doing other fun things too once certain goals have been met. We’re not sure what they have in mind apart from making Aron finally creating a Twitter account, apparently.

Other than donating money you can also get involved by voting on what type of game they will be making. There are two categories to choose from – genre and theme. The highest and lowest voted from each will be combined and that is what Mojang will make during Mojam.

You can start voting right now by heading over to the announcement page!

If you’re on Twitter too, make sure to follow @mojangteam and @notch for updates. Also use #Mojam to submit questions!
