‘Legend Of Grimrock’ Has Gone Gold

Almost Human have announced that their much anticipated dungeon crawler, Legend of Grimrock, has now gone gold, so now they are preparing for the big release.

As far as old school dungeon crawlers go, Legend of Grimrock is without a doubt the one on the tip of everyone’s tongue. Almost Human have been very open about the whole development process, showing gameplay, updates and so on, every step of the way. Through it all, they’ve gained quite the following of mouth-foaming disciples, eagerly awaiting the moment they can venture through the dungeons awaiting them.

We found out that the game will be coming some time next month and there are indications that Legend of Grimrock will be getting the Steam treatment. Now the game has gone gold the development team are now focusing on the game’s release so it shouldn’t be too long before we find out when the game will be available and all of those other juicy details.

In the post announcing that the game has gone gold, the developers also mentioned a few of their other plans, well, possible plans at least:

“It’s been a long and challenging journey but we have finally reached this important milestone. But we don’t think it’s the end of the road, more like a fork in the road with ways branching into all sorts of interesting directions: iOS, Mac, map editor, sequel, new IP, living in a dumpster totally broke.”

Exciting stuff, eh?

More information on Legend of Grimrock can be found on the game’s official website.
