‘MouseCraft’ Three Blind Steampunk Mice

Just last week be brought you the news of brand new indie games studio Crunching Koalas began their unique campaign to bring their new beta to the masses.

The gimmick that Crunching Koalas implemented with releasing their first open beta was once 500 people had subscribed to the site they would announce the beta. Prior to this they had only released very teasing images and limited information about the game, this of course drives everyone’s curiosity and makes people Need to know.

On the back of this campaign Crunching Koalas first game was announced earlier this week and does have a rather interesting sounding title and concept.

MouseCraft is a tile matching puzzle game. Aiming to bring the nursery rhymes “three blind mice” into modern day as a new steampunk title. The idea will revolve around cheese, mad cat scientist and even Tetriminos.

It is always great to see Tetriminos brought back into games, they seem to only exist in a very limited fashion generally in games. This is most upsetting for me being a huge fan of Tetris so the more implementation the better.

With very limited information released so far and no screenshots yet Crunching Koalas really do love creating an air of mystery around their release. But I feel it is working on me as I do really look forward to finding out how MouseCraft plays.

MouseCraft sounds a very interesting new game. Luckily we will get a first glimpse of the game at the end of the month (29th). So at least you don’t have to wait too long now to get your hands on the game.

Crunching Koalas of course don’t intend to stop here as they are of course going to develop MouseCraft over the beta period. To get involved in this innovative new studio be sure to head over to the official site here and sign up to participate in the beta.
