‘Resonance’ Pre-Orders Now Being Taken For June 19th Release

After five long years of develoment, Vince Twelve’s highly intuitive and surprisingly original point and click sci-fi adventure, Resonance, is now available to pre-order in anticipation of its release on June 19th.

Though initially appealing for its pixel art, Resonance has proven to be much more than visually stunning – somehow it innovates within the well-established point and click adventure genre. This is due largely to its interface, in which a player can consult long and short term memories with which to ignite conversation and interact with items and the environment.

You’ll be playing as four characters intermittently, as they search to find a dead scientist’s vault in order to get hold of his new powerful technology, which could spell cataclysmic disaster if it ended up in the wrong hands.

You can check out our preview if you’re an Insider or if you bought the latest issue of our magazine, otherwise, do consider downloading this fantastic looking title either from GOG.com as a digital download for $8.99 (a dollar off the full price) or from the Wadjet Eye Games website where you can get a boxed Collector’s Edition for $24.99.

More information on Resonance can be found on the game’s official website.

Valuing gameplay and innovation over everything, Chris has a keen eye for the most obscure titles unknown to man and gets a buzz from finding fantastic games that are not getting enough love. Chris Priestman, Editor-in-Chief of IGM
