The Wild Wild Pixel Kickstarter Launches

The Wild Wild Pixel is an upcoming point-and-click adventure game that follows the story of Jacques, a man who is been an unwilling resident of The Valley his entire life. Jacques has attempted escape from this desert imprisoned by enormous cliff walls several times, only to fail. It is an escape attempt that only Jacques seems to lust for, as the other residents seem content with their confined, desert existence. And now, once again, we find Jacques attempting to escape from his desert prison, and learn of what exists beyond the towering cliffs that surrounds his homeland.

An expansive point-and-click adventure that pays homage to those like it that came before it, while also adding some modern day touches. The story itself will take place across five chapters, each clocking in at around five hours each, all set within an immersive world where every choice matters, no matter how small it may seem. The Wild Wild Pixel will also feature a skit system, side quests, mini games, puzzles, and many other features that will keep gamers engaged throughout the entire experience.

The Wild Wild Pixel will also feature a fully voice-acted cast of characters, an original soundtrack, and tons of animations and meticulously crafted set pieces.

The Kickstarter is now in full swing with 29 days left to go, so those wanting to help aid this game become fully realized can help by spreading the word. (Giving it a vote on Steam Greenlight wouldn’t hurt either.) Those that want to get a bit more hands-on with the game can do so by downloading the alpha demo of chapter one.

For more information on the  talented team behind the game, head on over to the The Wild Wild Pixel’s official website, and be sure to give Fabraz – one of the lead developers – a follow on Twitter, for even more updates on the project.
